Kiss-Cut Vinyl Decals – Army – 25th Infantry Regiment – Fort Missoula, MT – Buffalo Soldiers w Inf Branch

The 25th Infantry Regiment was established in 1866 as part of the U.S. Army’s post-Civil War restructuring. It was one of four regiments composed of African American soldiers, alongside the 24th Infantry, and the 9th and 10th Cavalry. These regiments were collectively known as the Buffalo Soldiers, a nickname believed to have been given by Native American tribes, possibly due to the soldiers’ hair resembling that of buffalo.
