The “Manchus” are the 9th Infantry Regiment of the U.S. Army, whose motto is “Keep Up the Fire,” originating from Colonel Liscum’s final words during the Boxer Rebellion. The phrase “Toko-ri X 300” refers to a long-distance training exercise conducted by the regiment at Camp Hovey, South Korea, likely commemorating a significant historical event like the 85-mile march during the Boxer Rebellion. The 1st Battalion, 9th Infantry, is a modern iteration of this historically decorated unit, currently serving at Camp Hovey
