SSI – 28th Armored Division X 300 Classic License Plate

The 28th Division was an infantry division of the British Army raised for service in World War I. It was formed in England in December 1914 – January 1915 from regular army battalions returning from India, Singapore and Egypt. In January 1915 the division moved to France and on to the Western Front. The division was officially established in 1879 and was later redesignated as the 28th Division in 1917, after the entry of America into the First World War. Today, it is part of the Pennsylvania Army National Guard, Maryland Army National Guard, Ohio Army National Guard, and New Jersey Army National Guard.
