Unit History

The 52nd Infantry Division was a short-lived U.S. Army Organized Reserve formation active from 1946 to 1947. It was part of the post–World War II reorganization of reserve forces, intended to maintain readiness during peacetime. The division was never fully activated or deployed, and it was soon inactivated as part of broader defense restructuring.
