Die-Cut Magnets – Army – 515th Parachute Infantry Regiment – DUI – 13th Airborne Div w Parachute – EUR SVC WWII X 300
The 515th Parachute Infantry Regiment was activated on May 31, 1943, at Fort Benning, Georgia. Initially, it was formed with a cadre of 184 men from the 507th Parachute Infantry Regiment, under the command of Colonel Julian B. Lindsey. The regiment was designed to provide replacements for airborne units and underwent extensive training to prepare for combat operations.
