The 1st Brigade Combat Team (BCT) of the United States Army’s 1st Infantry Division is known as the “Devil Brigade” and is the oldest permanent brigade in the Army, currently stationed at Fort Riley, Kansas. It is a maneuver brigade combat team focused on conventional warfare and rapid deployment, serving as a forward-deployed element within the U.S. Army’s V Corps in Europe and supporting NATO operations and exercises.
